STATE-OF-THE-ART WIRE EDM FACILITY AT OGC
After 14 months of research and development, Original Gauge Company has launched this high tech facility. Centred around the state-of-the-art Makino wire EDM machine technology, this facility enhances OGC’s precision with tighter tolerances and significantly faster lead times in the supply of spline gauges and spur master gears.
This facility combined with our traditional thread grinding operation provides our clients a unique One-Stop Shop as the only gauge manufacturer in the United Kingdom to have in-house manufacture and calibration capability for both thread and spine gauges. This latest EDM facility also offers component EDM machining to incredibly tight, proven tolerance capability, further enhancing an overall unique capability to support our global clients with critical engineering requirements.
